We were lucky enough to have our very own tour guide who helped us blend in, which was appreciated.

She took us across the Brooklyn Bridge during the evening commute, so we were walking alongside locals on their way home.

To our right was the Manhattan Bridge, which doesn't have a walking path.

It was a wonderful experience, which I will gladly do again (perhaps even on a bicycle) the next time we're up there.
