No way! These are pricey, but awesome. Frames alone start at $2K.
Worked on bikes this weekend. The conversion kit previously mentioned was for a free hub, not a free wheel. Apparently my bike is pre-1990. Might even be early 80s. Needless to say, the kit didnt' work. Disappointed, I took my multi-speed to the nice old man and the bike shop. My single speed will be ready on Tuesday. Woo hoo.
Got the tandem all lubed and ready for the spring. Greased the bearings and put on new tubes and tires. Took the SO and the neighbor kids for a ride. It's gonna be a fun toy.
Pollen has arrived in this allergy-rich area. Cars are yellow and noses are runny.
I'll post some spring break pics later in the week. Tomorrow, it's back to the grind.
