everything's better

at H-E-B.

I think I will always be amazed with the concept of a grocery store. Food production is a long chain of events. It's grown somewhere. Made somewhere. Packaged and shipped from somewhere. All to the store, where I choose things to put in my cart, then swipe a plastic card and take them home.

Everything's better until you forget your tote bags and the sacker chick doesn't put anything together, even though that's how it came to her on the conveyor belt. And of course, it must be reorganized the minute we walk out the door. The soy milk doesn't want the muesli cooties until they join as one in the cereal bowl.

Feeling long-winded. And tired. Tomorrow's Thursday, thank goodness.
